There are moments when life gets too loud. When thoughts spiral, heartbeats race for the wrong reasons, and the world feels too heavy to carry. Even when I would try to bury that feeling, my body would begin to twitch. That’s when I lace up my shoes.
Running has always been more than just a workout for me—it’s my escape, my reset. With every stride, I shed a little bit of the weight I carry (mentally). The road doesn’t ask questions or make demands. It just lets me be.
Some days, I run to feel strong. Other days, I run to feel nothing at all. But always, I run to find clarity—to quiet the chaos in my mind and remember who I am beneath the noise.
Running doesn’t solve everything, but it gives me space to breathe, to think, to heal.
What is your escape?
